The whole upstairs unit is yours, with its own private entrance and self check-in by keypad. It suits couples, friends, solo travelers and remote workers who want a calm home base. Maximum 4 guests, including children and infants.

Know Before You Book

We'd rather you know the quirks now than be surprised later. This is a 100-year-old beach house with neighbors close by.

  • Stairs. The only way up is a flight of old stone, open-riser steps. There is no elevator.

  • Not childproofed. Open stairs, sharp furniture corners and unlocked cleaning supplies. We don't recommend it for children under 12 or infants.

  • Close neighbors. A neighbor lives directly below, so quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. Please run the washer and dryer outside those hours.

  • Noise monitor. A decibel-only sensor sits in the living room. It records no audio or video; it only alerts us if noise stays loud.

  • City beach sounds. The home faces Ocean Blvd and the beach, with an alley behind. Windows keep it quiet inside, but it isn't a secluded cabin.

  • Coastal weather. Wind carries sand and salt onto windows and outdoor surfaces.

  • Parking. Free street parking only. Easy on weekdays and in winter; weekends, holidays and summer can take some circling. Watch street-sweeping signs.

  • Big events. The Long Beach Marathon, holiday parades, summer festivals and the 2028 Olympics can close nearby streets. Ask us if your dates overlap.

  • Patio. The furnished front patio belongs to the downstairs unit.

  • Guest names. Our city permit requires full names of all guests before check-in.

FAQ

When are check-in and checkout? Check-in is at 3 pm and checkout is at 10 am.

How many guests can stay? Up to 4 people total, including children and infants. It's a city permit and insurance limit.

Is it good for kids? We don't recommend it for children under 12 or infants because of the open stairs and furniture.

Where do I park? Free street parking. Weekdays and winter are easy; summer weekends take patience. Load and unload briefly at the red curb in front.

How does check-in work? Self check-in with a keypad. We send your code before arrival.

Can I stay a month? Stays are limited to 28 nights or fewer.

I left something behind. We'll ship it back at postage cost plus a $20 handling fee. Unclaimed items are donated after 30 days.

What's the cancellation policy? Full refund if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in. Cancel 7 to 14 days before check-in and you get 50% of the nightly rate back; within 7 days, there's no refund. You can also cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund.

Are pets allowed? No pets, please. Service animals are welcome.
